Impeller pump — How to add the heated fatty part of the product automatically during industrial production? When making bakery products, it is necessary to add fatty ingredients to the dough, such as margarine, butter or other fatty products, but the crystallization of soft fats occurs at room temperature. The question arises, which pump will cope with this work? There is no breakdown, there are such pumps as rotary, plunger, screw, but their cost is high because they are structurally difficult to manufacture.
Our attention can be drawn to a budget pump — Impeller pump.
The heated impeller pump was developed and tested many times at installations and as an independent unit of equipment.
Principle of operation
Due to the asymmetric section of the casing
pump, the volume between the flexible wings of the impeller increases in the suction zone, a vacuum is created, and the liquid enters the pump casing. The rotating working
wheel moves the product from the suction to the discharge nozzle. Due to the asymmetric shape of the body, the impeller wings bend at the discharge opening, the volume between them decreases, thereby displacing the product.
