BOVERIN is a microbiological preparation with insecticidal action based on the entomopathogenic
fungus – the hyphomycete Beauveria bassiana with a titer of no less than 20*109 spores per ml. drug.
It is recommended for the protection of agricultural and flower-decorative indoor crops against thrips, greenhouse whiteflies, fungus gnat larvae, mining flies, fruit flies, and cabbage borer larvae. The fight against thrips is particularly effective in combination with amblyseus.
Mechanism of action. Conidiospores of the fungus, having fallen on the body of an insect, germinate and penetrate into the body cavity, dissolving the cuticle with enzymes, while releasing toxins, causing the death of pests. The mycelium penetrates the entire body of the insect, forming a layer of conidiophores with conidia on its surface. The host dies, and the conidia are transferred to other plants.
Application and processing conditions.
• Consumption of the drug is from 3 to 9 l/ha, depending on the number of pests.

• Consumption of working fluid 0.5 l/m2 or 1500-2000 l per 1 ha with a concentration of 0.5-1%.
• Spraying of vegetative plants. Regular processing of plants is carried out with an interval of 7-14 days, and half of the suspension is applied to the plants, and the second - to the soil.
• The optimal temperature for the development of an entomopathogenic fungus is +16...+280C, with a relative humidity of 80-85%.
Biological efficiency after 30 days after the use of the drug is 75-82%.
It is used instead of similar chemical preparations.
Safe for humans, animals and beneficial insects.
