PENTAFAG-"C" is a culture liquid containing virions of five strains of bacterial viruses, as well as biologically active substances.
Pentaphage-"C" has a prophylactic and curative effect against a wide range of bacteriosis of fruit and vegetable crops.
Correct use of the drug leads to almost complete suppression of the manifestations of bacterial cancer of fruit crops, holey spotting of stone crops, angularspotting of cucumbers and other pumpkins, bacterial spotting and bacterial cankertomatoes. Pentaphage-"C" reduces plant damage by powdery mildew and scab.
Bacterial viruses destroy the cells of phytopathogenic bacteria that oppress plants or have other adverse effects on them. After the destruction of the bacterial cell, 100 - 200 new virus particles are released, capable of infecting new cells of phytopathogenic bacteria.
