The PES-250 plant is intended for processing raw materials for animal feed, and today it is the most effective equipment in terms of processing quality, energy saving and labor intensity.(//tractor-service.com)
During extrusion, a temperature of 110-160°C is reached and a pressure of more than 50 atm. Hydrolysis of starch occurs with an increase in the amount of dextrins and total sugars, the structure of the cell walls is destroyedcell walls, fiber breaks down into secondary sugar, as a result of which feed digestibility and taste qualities improve, pathogenic microflora is destroyed, it becomes possible to obtain good-quality feed from wheat and other grains affected by fungi and mold.
Due to the drop in pressure at the exit from theextruder the structure of the grain explodes and becomes more accessible to the action of digestive juices and enzymes,
A significant increase in digestibility (from 45% with traditional grain processing) to 95% with the use of extrudate allows to obtain the same performance of animals or their weight gain by feeding a significantly smaller amount of grain fodder.
At unchanged rates of feeding grain fodder ego extrudate allows to increase:
- milk yield - by 20-50%;
- live weight gains of young cattle, pigs, etc. - by 30-40%;
- egg production of chickens - by 20-25%;
- feed is completely disinfected;
- cattle morbidity caused by microbes is minimized when fed with extrudate. Those who are engaged in fatteningcattle, pigs have the opportunity to receive highly nutritious extrudate from legumes, grains, corn, etc. directly in local farms. The PES-250 installation is not inferior to the best imported samples of similar purpose.
