The FE 500 extruder is a model representing the average productivity of ourextruders. It offers a wide range of possibilities for use in the production of fodder. The extruder is able to compress the material in the working chamber under high pressure and heat it to a high temperature, thanks to which it is widely used in many feed production technologies. The extrusion process makes it possible to remove many anti-nutrients from feed, gelatinizestarch, denature proteins, changetexture of feed and ensure its expansion and sterilization. In the production of fodder for ruminants, extrusion allows to increase the content of bypass protein. As a result of extrusion processing, the taste quality of feed improves and its nutritional value increases.

The FE 500 extruder is intended for production of medium capacity, its productivity reaches 10.8-16.8 tons per day. In the standard version, it is made for connection to an electrical network that meets the EU specification, but the wiring can also be adapted to the requirements of local markets (USA, Canada...). There are 3 possible wiring options, in which the frequency converter of the conveyor-doser is always present, and it is possible to order a frequency converter for the main drive, which will expand the possibilities of optimization of the extrusion process. The power of the electric motor of these extruders is 55 kW.

The heart of the extruder is its working mechanism, which can work in wet or dry extrusion mode. It consists of closed chambers through which a screw with friction elements passes, with the help of which the material in the chambers is compressed, intensively mixed, kneaded and heated by friction. The working mechanism is followed by a shaft support mounted on a fixed frame. The extruder drive is provided by an electric motor, its power is optimized in such a way as to simultaneously cover a wide range of processed materials and ensure low energy consumption of production. An integral part of the machine is a conveyor-doser with a smooth adjustment of revolutions, which allows you to continuously dose the material. The case serves to retain dust particles and is undoubtedly an aesthetic element of this machine.
