The coil system for sowing seeds in planters of the SZM series has been improved with the use of the latest technologies for surface treatment of parts and the use of high-strength and wear-resistant components in their manufacture. Thanks to the combination of the screw method of adjusting the coils to the set seeding rate and switching the speed of rotation of the gearbox, the seeder can be set both for a micro-sowing rate of 6 kg/ha and a macro-sowing rate of up to 400 kg/ha, and when equipped with a small seed hopper from 1 kg/ha to 40 kg/ha.

The Nika 6 grain seeder has two hoppers - 1300 l for seeds and 525 l for fertilizer, which creates prerequisites for high productivity and lower costs for reloading the seeder during sowing. Moreover, when dismantling the inter-bunker partition, the capacity of the grain bunker increases to 1825 l.
The Nika 4 grain seeder has two hoppers - 920 l for seeds and 350 l for fertilizer, which creates prerequisites for high productivity and lower costs for reloading the seeder during sowing. Moreover, when dismantling the inter-bunker partition, the capacity of the grain bunker increases to 1280 liters.

For the formation of an ideal seed bed, a design of offset placement of the coulter discs is used, which also protects it from clogging with stones. At the same time, the first disk cuts through a straight sowing line, cuts the harvest residues, and the second loosens the soil and prepares the seed bed.

The set depth of seed sowing is achieved due to the mechanism of pressure springs, which, in addition to adjusting the depth, allow the coulter mechanism to copy the surface of the seeded area. The rolling-regulating wheel located behind the coultersupports the wheel precise control of the depth of seed placement, ensures the contact of the seed material with the soil, which is necessary for optimal moisture inflow through the capillaries, uniform formation of the root system and germination.
