General information
Heliantex™ contains the active ingredient haloxifen-methyl, which belongs to a new class of chemical compounds - aryl picoliants, which according to the international classification belongs to the group of auxin-like
herbicides, the risk of developing resistance which is defined as low.
Advantages of using
· Created on the basis of the innovative molecule Arylex™ active.
· Can be used on all types of
sunflower hybrids, namely conventional hybrids and ExpressSun® and Clearfield® herbicide resistant hybrids.
· Unsurpassed control of ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), even overgrown.
· Control of problem species of dicotyledonous weeds, in particular such as: white quinoa (Chenopodium album), Theofrast's rope (Abutilon theophrasti), common nettle (Xanthium strumarium), etc.
· It has a wide window of application: from the appearance of 4 true leaves of the culture to the beginning of the star stage (VVSN 14-50).
· Provides maximum flexibility for optimal problem weed control.
· Compatible with various plant protection programs used in sunflower crops.
· Demonstrates a high level of safety.
Mechanism and speed of action
The active growth of sensitive weeds stops a day after the drug penetrates the plant. The first visible signs of weed suppression appear 1-2 days after application.
(//tractor-service.com)
The final death of weeds occurs 3-5 weeks after treatment and depends on the species composition and stage of development of weeds, the degree of clogging, as well as climatic conditions before, during and after treatment.
Spectrum of controlled weeds
The use of the herbicide Heliantex™ provides control of problematic species of dicotyledonous weeds, in particular, such as: white quinoa (Chenopodium album), Theophrast's rope (Abutilon theophrasti), common nettle (Xanthium strumarium), black-leaved black-leaved (Iva xanthiifolia), common black-blend (Cyclachaena xantiifolia ), bitter gourd (Galiumaparine).
Heliantex™ suppresses the growth of such weeds as wild hemp (Cannabis ruderalis), black nightshade (Solanum nigrum), bent sedum (Amaranthus retroflexus), common datura (Datura stramonium) under optimal conditions of use.
Compatibility with other drugs
To expand the spectrum of controlled weeds, Heliantex™ herbicide can be used in tank mixes and protection programs with other anti-mothweed herbicides. It should be avoided in tank mixtures with herbicides based on imazamox and imazapyr, which can lead to temporary manifestation of phytotoxicity in crops. When using these active substances in herbicide protection programs, the interval between treatments should be at least 10 days.
It is necessary to avoid use with organophosphorus insecticides, and when using them, observe an interval of 12-14 days. It is not recommended to use Heliantex™ simultaneously with the introduction of graminicides, the interval between treatments should be at least 10 days. Simultaneous use with drugs that have a re-regulating effect should be avoided.
The following crop rotations
There are no restrictions on sowing the following crops.
Additional recommendations
· the optimal ambient temperature for the use of the drug ranges from +8 to +25 °С;
· it is not recommended to use Heliantex™ if sunflower crops are in a state of stress (due to plant damage by pests, diseases, lack of nutrition, previously applied drugs, effects of drought or heat, excessive air and soil humidity, as well as exposure to cool weather conditions, etc.);| ||226
· слід уникати перекриття та знесення робочого розчину на сусідні культури;
rain that fell within the first hour after application can reduce the effectiveness of the drug;
· according to agricultural practice, the drug is recommended to be used when pollinating insects are not active (early in the morning or late in the evening);
· it is forbidden to use in personal auxiliary farms, by the aviation method, in the water protection zone of fishing ponds.
Preventing the emergence of resistance to the drug
Due to the fact that the herbicide Heliantex™ contains the active ingredient haloxifen-methyl, the risk of resistance is reduced.
Haloxyfen-methyl belongs to a new class of chemical compounds - aryl picolinates, which, according to the international classification, belongs to the group of auxin-like herbicides (synthetic auxins, Group O, HRAC classification), the risk of developing resistance in which is determined to be low.
However, to eliminate or minimize any potential risk, the following recommendations should be followed:
· Use the maximum permissible rates of the drug to control difficult-to-control weeds.
· Ensure crop rotation in crop rotation.
· Alternate herbicides with other mechanisms of action on the same field.
· Use combined programs and/or tank mixtures of herbicides to enhance the effect.
