General information:
On onion crops, in case of significant overgrowth of weeds, the maximum permissible single dose may be 0.5 l/ha, but not more than 1.5 l/ha per season.
In order for the drug to work best, it should be used in the period of development of 2-4 leaves in broad-leaved plants and in the period of 2 leaves of grass weeds.
However, in order to reach the maximum, it is necessary to take into account a number of caveats:
do not spray the solution on nearby growing crops;
do not interfere simultaneously with the immunogen;
(//tractor-service.com)
do not use on stressed plants.
It should also be taken into account that in order to better use the protective action of the herbicide on onions, sunflowers and garlic, it is better to remove all types of tillage that harm it and destroy the so-called "screen" where weeds will grow and receive a huge dose of this herbicide and die.
Goal herbicide is used to protect onions and garlic from a complex of clogging agents.
Active substance: 240 g/l oxyfluorfen
Culture: onion, garlic
Weeds: Dicotyledons
Type: Post-emergence
Drug form: Emulsion concentrate
Container: 5 liters, the price is for 1 liter.
Goal herbicide is one of the most popular means of protecting agricultural crops from dicotyledonous weeds. In world practice, it is used on more than fifty crops, in our country it is traditionally used on onions and garlic (rarely - sunflower, carrots, ornamental plants, apple trees, white cabbage
cabbage).
Characteristics of the herbicide Goal:
Inorganic selective herbicide Goal is produced in the form of an emulsion concentrate packaged in five-liter plastic canisters. The method of application depends on the culture on which it is used. This is either post-emergence application (onions, garlic), or pre-emergence with the creation of a "protective screen" on the soil (sunflower).
The active substance - oxyfluorfen (240 g/l) disrupts the process of photosynthesis in the cells of the weed plant, which causes its death.
Features of the use of the herbicide Goal:
Treatment with post-emergence application is recommended to be carried out in stages, with a gradual increase in the dose of Goal. You can start by forming the third leaf of garlic or onion according to the following scheme:
Application of the drug:
Culture - Spectrum of action - Consumption rate, l/ha - Working solution, l/ha - Application phase
* Onion, garlic
-Annual dicotyledonous weeds
-0.07-0.3
-200 -300
-Spraying during the vegetation period, fractional application depending on the development phases of onions, garlic and weeds.
* Sunflower
- Annual dicotyledonous weeds
-0.8-1.0
-200 -300
-Spraying the soil after sowing, but before the emergence of crop seedlings
When processing onions and garlic, take into account the presence of wax coating on the leaves. With a weak coating, the dose should not exceed more than 0.07 l/ha.
If the plaque is washed away by rain, take a break until it appears (2-3 days).
If precipitation is expected, do not apply.
Optimum spraying conditions:
time - from 11.00 to 14.00;
air temperature from +5°С to +20°С (ideally +10°С);
wind speed no more than 5 m/s.
Instructions for use of the herbicide Goal
The working mixture is prepared immediately before use:
fill the container with water to 1/3 of the volume;
add the calculated dose of herbicide (preliminarily shake the concentrate in the factory package), mix thoroughly;
add water to the full volume.
Do not mix with anti-cereal herbicides!
For the best effect, use slit (flat jet) sprayers. Four hours after application (when irrigating shoots that have already appeared), Goal comes into contact with plant cells and starts irreversible processes that will lead to the final death of weeds after two weeks. If the treatment was carried out before the emergence of sprouts, contact with the active substances of the herbicide occurs when the seedlings pass through the "protective screen" on the ground.
