The dosing mechanism is actuated from the axis of the support-drive wheel by means of a chain transmission consisting of a system of stars, a chain and a tension device. By changing the ratio of chain transmission, you can adjust the step of sowing seeds in a row.

The design of the planter is adapted for sowing corn. But, when equipped with a sowing drum with a groove radius of 10 mm, you can sow other crops with large seed size: sunflower, soybean, pea, pod and bush bean.

Seed calibration is recommended to ensure uniformity of sowing. Some elite varieties have increased seed sizes. This must also be taken into account when choosing a dosing drum.

The design of the single-row vegetable planter economy SI10 allows you to adjust the depth of seed wrapping and the step of sowing in a row. Compared to other models of vegetable planters, the SI10 model lacks a clutch for disconnecting the drive, as well as a harrowing mechanism.

The seeder formotoblock is equipped with a naralnik (keel-shaped) coulter. Additional equipment with a row marker is also possible.
