The seeder is intended for regular sowing of siderate grass crops with spherical seeds on previously processed and prepared soils. The dosing mechanism is actuated from the axis of the support-drivewheel by means of a chain transmission consisting of a system of sprockets, chains and a tension device. Dosing plates with 8 round holes with a diameter of 2.5 mm are supplied in the set with SI6 (completion with other plates is possible only by special order). Adjustment of sowing depth is carried out with the help of height-adjustable naral (keel-shaped) or anchor coulters.
