One of the most stable varieties of barley in Ukraine.
The variety was created at the All-Russian Research Institutegrain cultures named after I.G. Kalinenka.

The type of development is alternative (two-handed).
The ear is six-rowed, cylindrical, loose, straw-yellow, 5 cm long, the spines are thin, elastic, jagged and equal in length to the ear.
The grain is large, elongated.
Pubescence of the main setae is short. Straw is durable.
The variety is resistant to lodging, plant height 85-91 cm.
An early ripening variety with a short spring period.
Forms a full-fledgedgrain also with early spring sowing. Weight of 1000 grains 36-46 g.

Production varieties: Tayna (Ukraine) x Rostovsky 908 (Russia).

When sowing in spring, it is not inferior to the best spring varieties of barley.
Resistance to diseases and adverse weather conditions: The variety is characterized by high frost and drought resistance.
High-tech in cultivation.
In field conditions, it is resistant to dwarf rust, powdery mildew and head diseases.

Commercial value: Stable high yield in various soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine. (in winter 60-70 t/ha, spring 45-50 t/ha)

Resistant to lying down. Drought resistance is very high. Possibility of use according to the predecessor, yield on average 45-52 t/ha.
