Mechanism of action of Praxim:
Proman is a systemic pre-emergence herbicide for protection against annual dicotyledonous and some grass weeds, the active substance of which, metobromuron, binds to a specific site in chloroplasts, which leads to the inhibition of photosynthesis. The production of nutrients stops due to the formation of highly reactive molecules that destroy cell membranes. After the appearance of weeds, discoloration (chlorosis) and necrosis of leaves and death of weeds are observed.
Range of action:
Dicotyledonous weeds: ragweed, common styrica, common buckwheat, white side, bitter gorse, common bitter gorse, common star, field mustard, black nightshade, medicinal chamomile.
Cereal weeds: one-year-old thin leg, brinjal (species), chicken millet, common flat.
