Introduced in the Register of Varieties of Ukraine for 2016 for growing in Polissya, forest -steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine.
= Biological features: short-stem, medium-pranne, growing season 278-282 days. Resistant to lodging. Winter hardiness is higher than average, drought resistant. Resistant to powdery mildew and brown leaf rust. Resistant to germination of grain in the ear and scattering. Variety - erythrosperm.
Grain quality: flour -milling and baking properties are different. || 100 It is attributed to strong wheat. With proper agrotechnics, the genetics of the variety provides high quality grain.Зерно сорту Соломія містить 14-15% білка, 28,5-33,1% сирої клейковини, сила борошна 327-391 а.о., об’єм хліба зі 100 г борошна 1150-1280 мл, загальна оцінка хлібопекарських якостей 8,2-8,4 бала. Віднесений до сильних пшениць. При належній агротехніці генетика сорту забезпечує отримання високоякісного зерна.
Economic features: variety high -yielding, intense type. According to the original, in the years of competitive test the yield of the variety Solomiya was 99.2 c/ha, which is 7.9 c/ha exceeds the yield of the national standard. The maximum yield was received in the 2015 competitive test of 108.5 c/ha, which exceeds the national standard by 12.2 c/ha.
= In the ecological test at three points (Polesie, Forest -steppe zones, steppe) in 2016, winter wheat variety Solomiya provided a yield of 92.2 c/ha, which is higher by 9.6 c/ha of national standard (variety). The solomiya grain yield in the state variety in 28 varieties was 51.5 - 105.2 c/ha. Significant yields of the Solomiya variety to the national standard-5,0-47.6 c/ha-were obtained in 18 varieties of 14 regions of Ukraine covering the zones of steppe, forest-steppe and Polesie (Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Donetsk, Ivano, Ivano. Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Volyn, Lviv region.
Урожай зерна сорту Соломія в державному сортовивченні у 28 сортодослідах становив 51,5 – 105,2 ц/га. Суттєві прибавки врожаю сорту Соломія до національного стандарту – 5,0 – 47,6 ц/га – отримано у 18 сортодослідах 14 областей України, що охоплюють зони Степу, Лісостеп та Полісся (Миколаївська, Дніпропетровська, Кіровоградська, Донецька, Полтавська, Житомирська, Івано-Франківська, Сумська, Вінницька, Тернопільська, Черкаська, Чернігівська, Волинська, Львівська області.

АГРОТЕХНІЧНІ ВИМОГИ: сорт необхідно вирощувати за інтенсивною технологією з внесенням оптимальних та високих доз мінеральних добрив. Специфічною для мінерального живлення сорту є необхідність ранньовесняного підживлення по мерзлоталому грунту та внесення добрив на бідних грунтах з осені.
