Diskus 500 WG (50% kresoxim-methyl) is a representative of a newfamily of fungicides, strobilurins, which suppress mitochondrial respiration. The active ingredient slowly spreads over the surface of the plant in a quasi-systemic manner. Discus 500 WG is characterized by exceptionally high protective, curative and exterminating activity and provides long-term final control of the disease. In a field experiment, it effectively limited the spread of apple scab when applied 72 and 96 hours after infection, and also suppressed the activity of necrosis of scab on leaves by 98-100% when sprayed twice every 5 days. Diskus fungicide can be bought at Novosad.
