Fungicide belonging to the class of strobilurins with mesostem activity.

Advantages But:

High activity against a wide range of diseases, including storage diseases.
Reliability: rapid rain resistance, i.e. heavy rain after treatment (after 1 hour) does not reduce the effectiveness of treatment; low air temperature after treatment does not have a negative effect.
Technology: thanks to mesostem properties, processing can be carried out in changing weather conditions; high air humidity during processing is more likely to be beneficial than dangerous for the effectiveness of the drug.

Preparative form Zato: Water-dispersible granules.
Composition Zato: 500 g/kg of trifloxystrobin.

Mechanism of action: Zato is a fungicide with a mesostemic effect, which is expressed in the fixation of the fungicide on the surface of leaves and fruits due to binding to the wax layer, as well as translaminar activity, which provides long-term, weather-dependent protection against diseases. Trifloxystrobin suppresses mitochondrial respiration infungi, which leads to cessation of growth and death. The fungicide has a protective and curative-prophylactic effect.

Spectrum of activity: But it is recommended on seed crops (apple,pear) against scab, powdery mildew, moniliosis, alternariosis, black (sooty) spotting, phyllostictosis and storage diseases.(//tractor-service.com)

The period of protective action, however: is 10-14 days.

The speed of the effect But: A few hours after processing.

Phytotoxicity Zato: Numerous tests of the drug Zato at the recommended consumption rates did not reveal any cases of phytotoxicity in relation to processed cultures.

Selectivity: But it has high selectivity of action

The possibility of resistance. There were no data on the emergence of resistance. However, to prevent its occurrence, the drug should be alternated with fungicides from different chemical groups.

Compatibility But it is compatible with most fungicides andinsecticides, with the exception of strongly alkaline and highly acidic substances. Before use, it is recommended to check for compatibility.

The shelf life, however, is not less than 2 years from the date of manufacture.
