The harrow can be used in all soil and climatic zones of Ukraine.
The Solokh disc harrow consists of two batteries, with camomile discs installed on the front, and solid discs on the back, which makes it possible for the harrow to work at a given depth and with high quality, regardless of the hardness of the soil and crop residues on the surface of the field. This is achieved primarily due to the large load on the disk (inBGR-4,2 BGR-6.7 "Solokha" it is 130 kg/per disk) and disk combinations ("chamomile" disks better cut the soil layer and grind the harvest residues, "solid" disks better mix and crumble the soil), thanks to this, "Solokha" works well in fields with large harvest residues.
To increase reliability and speed up repairs, both disc batteries of the harrow are divided into three sections on the BGR-4.2 harrow or five sections on the BGR-6.7 harrow, each of which rests on two supports with bearing units, thus, with a working width of 4.2 m, the disc battery rests on six bearing units, or ten on the BGR-6.7 harrow, with self-centering spherical roller bearings that have several degrees protection against dust and dirt getting into them.
Sections of disk batteries are assembled on shafts of square section, which makes it impossible to rotate disks, coils between disks and pressure washers.
Discs with a diameter of 710 mm are installed on the harrow, which makes it possible to increase their resource by at least 30% compared to discs with a diameter of 650 mm, which are installed on other harrows.
But the most important advantage of this disk harrow is the stable cultivation depth. In disk harrows that were previously produced by other factories, the depth of cultivation was set by the angle of attack of the batteries, but when soil moisture and the amount of plant residues on the surface of the field changed, the depth of soil cultivation decreased or, on the contrary, increased, which violated the main agrotechnical requirement - the depth of cultivation. On the Solokh disc harrow, the depth of cultivation is also set by the angle of attack of the batteries, but it is additionally limited by the wheel suspension, so even with the maximum angle of attack of the batteries deeper than that set on the wheel suspension, the harrow will not deepen, and dry land or a large amount of plant residues will not reduce the depth of cultivation due to a significant load - 130 kg/disc (for example, in BDT - 7 this indicator is 55 kg/disc).
Upon request, the harrow can be equipped with a rolling roller, which additionally grinds large lumps of earth and creates such a background after its work that reduces the evaporation of moisture from the soil. Structurally, it is made of plates, this prevents it from being clogged with plant residues and wet soil.
Compared with the traditional technology of the main cultivation of the soil with a plow, using a harrow you reduce fuel costs in half and perform the same amount of work twice as fast.
If you take into account only the fuel economy, the harrow will pay for itself already after working 1300 hectares, but in addition, you will not have piles of plant residues on the surface of the field, pile ridges and collapsed furrows, as with plowing, the soil will be less compacted.
You will do your work twice as fast, because you do not need to buy 2 tractors and two sets of tools to go with them.
And most importantly, remember, when you buy a harrow, you pay for it money that you would still spend tomorrow on additional fuel.
