Mechanism of action
Nordox 75 Wg contains micronized particles of copper oxides, the average size of which is 1.2 microns, which provides effective coating, retention and firm sticking to the surface of the plants. After getting on the leaves, the copper particles interact with moisture and release copper ions. These ions are absorbed by microorganisms, which leads to impaired germination and division of pathogens. Copper disrupts the metabolism of pathogens by inhibiting many enzymatic reactions. In addition, after the instant destruction of the pathogen, copper oxide slowly breaks down, preventing new infection. Copper particles are slowly released from the surface, which provides more prolonged protection of plants. A protective barrier against fungal and bacterial infections is created.
