In the process of burning biodiesel fuel, the amount of unburned hydrocarbons is reduced by more than 90 percent, and aromatic hydrocarbons are released by 75-90 percent less.
4. Biodiesel consists of 11 percent oxygen and does not contain sulfur at all. This fuel is able to extend the life of diesel power units, as it has more effective lubricating characteristics compared to petroleum diesel fuel.
