The spectrum of action of Aegis destroys a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds, as well as certain types of annual grasses in the initial phases of their growth.
Among the annual dicotyledonous weeds that are sensitive to the drug are the following annual dicotyledonous weeds: Theophrastus's rope, sedge (species), garden thistle, small-flowered sedge, field mustard, common sedum, wild radish, common dahlia, chamomile, white radish, common nettle, medium starwort, kidney mustard, garden purslane, yellow yarrow, ambrosia polynolista, lutea, common gill, nightshade black, quinoa white. The herbicide partially suppresses perennial dicots: pink thistle, yellow field thistle, field horsetail, field birch (only those plants that were treated), vine milkweed (in the initial stages of development); as well as annual cereal weeds: spiked millet, flat common, blood-red glove.

mesotrione penetrates plants through leaves and roots, moves acropetally and basipetally.
Inhibits the biosynthesis of carotenoids. Speed ​​and symptoms of impact after treatment with Aegis, sensitive weeds stop growing within 1-2 days, their growth points become discolored, after that the entire plant becomes completely discolored, its tissues die.

The optimal spraying phase for annual weeds is 2-3 leaves, for perennial weeds - a rosette with a diameter of 5-8 cm. At the same time, the weeds should actively vegetate, which improves the penetration and distribution of the active substance of the drug in them. It is important to carry out spraying in phases when the culture does not screen weeds. Do not apply if corn plants are stressed due to drought, frost, or other adverse conditions, as well as during heavy dew and rainfall. Rain that passed an hour after spraying does not reduce the effectiveness of the herbicide. To achieve maximum effectiveness of Aegis, it is necessary to ensure high-quality and uniform coverage of weed leaves with the working solution of the drug. The maximum consumption rate of the drug is used in case of high weediness of crops and in case of missing the phase of development of weeds optimal for treatment, as well as in unfavorable weather conditions.
You should not carry out mechanical tillage of the soil during the week before and after the application of Aegis.
Phytotoxicity In the recommended rates of consumption, the drug does not show phytotoxicity to the culture, does not suppress its growth and development. The possibility of occurrence of resistance cases of occurrence of resistance was not detected.
To prevent the emergence of resistance, it is recommended to alternate the use of the drug with the introduction of herbicides of other chemical classes. Restrictions on crop rotation If it is necessary to replant corn treated with Aegis, you can sow corn immediately. In the fall of the same year, you can sow (after plowing) winter barley and winter wheat, ryegrass, winter rapeseed. In the spring of the following year (after plowing), you can sow soybeans,sunflower, rapeseed, sorghum, alfalfa. Sensitive crops (sugar, table and fodder beets, peas, legumes, vegetables) should be sown no earlier than 18 months after using the drug. Compatibility to expand the spectrum of action of Aegis can be used in tank mixtures with other herbicides, for example, with Doubloon, Doubloon® Gold, as well as herbicides based on S-metolachlor (Milonga®) applied at the same time. However, in each specific case, the mixed preparations should be checked for compatibility, as well as the stability and phytotoxicity of the working liquid of the mixture. It is not recommended to useinsecticides based on organophosphorus compounds and thiocarbamates less than 8 days before or after the application of the herbicide.
