What is Stellar herbicide
Many farmers and large agricultural enterprises try to treat the soil with various preparations even before all kinds of harmful plants grow there. And this is really the right approach, because in this way they minimize the possibility of destroying the grains of their cultivated plants by all sorts of pests. Nevertheless, there are drugs that belong to the so-called "after-care" drugs. That is, they are used already after weed sprouts have broken through the ground and the harvest has come down. Herbicide Stellar should be treated with such means of protection. Moreover, it is narrowly focused and is usually used on corn crops. This is explained by the high selectivity of the drug for this type of cultivated plants.

In addition, the advantages of the herbicide include:
does not inhibit the development and growth of corn, even under adverse weather conditions.
one processing is enough
very effective in the fight against the most hard-to-eradicate weeds
controls subsequent waves of weeds, high efficiency against all dicotyledonous weeds, as well as annual grasses.
How the drug works:
Stellar herbicide is quite a powerful and effective drug that will not cause you much trouble, because it can be used only once per season. Its formula is based on two active substances: dicamba and topramesone. Dicamba is essentially an acid, but it is rarely used in its pure form. It is characterized by a direct effect on the vital systems of plants, completely destroying harmful weeds. Initially, dicamba is absorbed by leaves and roots (with sufficient moisture). After that, the conducting tissues of the plants transport the acid to the growth zones, where it disrupts the hormonal balance, which leads to the death of the pest. But topramezone is a much more interesting substance, because it is an analogue of the so-called "
natural herbicides". It is able to suppress various weeds that are resistant to other herbicides. Just like dicamba, topramesone is systemic, but penetration into the plant is much faster. Already after 1-2 days, weedy plants stop growing, and the process of their death begins.
Application:
This herbicide has quite flexible processing times (from 2 to 6 leaves). Nevertheless, it is still necessary to be able to apply it correctly. In particular, the manufacturer recommends using it only with the DASH sticker, which is usually included in the kit. Otherwise, the use of the chemical may give a completely different result, or not give it at all. We have compiled a small table with recommendations for use:
Recommendations for use and rate of consumption:
High efficiency and a long period of weed control is provided by a tank mixture of herbicides Stellar 0.8–1.0 l/ha + surfactant Metolat 0.8–1.0 l/ha and Frontier Optima 0.8–1.0 l/ha in the phase of 3–6 leaves of the culture. Thanks to the soil action of topramezone and dimethenamid-P, the effectiveness against annual grass and dicot weeds is enhanced and a long protective period is provided, including the next wave of weeds.
