The Groot sunflower hybrid has tolerance to 5 races of downy mildew. Sunflower seeds have a yield potential of 57 t/ha. Oil content of Groot seeds is 49-51%.
The growing season of the culture is 110-115 days. The hybrid is resistant to cold, drought and seed spillage from the basket.

Grut seeds are produced in three types of technological pre-sowing treatment: Basis, Optimum and Premium. Premium processing of Groot sunflower seeds significantly increases the final yield, as it allows the culture's potential to fully unfold. Premium Eurosem treatment includes three fungicidal protoxins (fludioxonil, metalaxyl-m, thiram), a growth stimulator based on a phytohormone and microfertilizer Eurostim Premium).
