A new sunflower hybrid of the selection of "AF NPP AGROMYR" LLC, submitted for state testing in 2025.

Created on the basis of the Berkan hybrid. But, at the same time, it has a number of significant differences from it:

Unlike the Berkan hybrid, the Fortress hybrid has:
increased resistance to post-emergence herbicides of the imidazoline group (Euro-Lightning, Euro-Lightning plus, Kaptora, Kaptora plus, Pulsar, Eurolang, Euroland, Vitalite, etc.). For example, in the process of selective selection, the dose of a single application of the herbicide Euro-Lightning reached 1.7 l/ha, and Euro-Lightning plus up to 2.3 l/ha;
genetically homogeneous;
has a thicker and stronger stem;
has a larger habit with wider leaves;
the slope of the basket at full ripeness is smaller.
