The ejector is intended for dividing the split nut into fractions and the subsequent separation of the shell from each fraction of the product.
The nut is fed to the calibrating ejector, where it "opens" under the condition of a high-quality overlap. Next, the core is separated into fractions on sieves. The first fraction is an unopened or unbroken nut. It descends from the upper sieve and goes to the sorting table or to the drum machine. The second, third, and fourth fractions are butterflies, quarters, and eights, respectively; after separation, they pass into aspiration columns, in which the shell is separated from the core. The aspiration system is adjusted to the specific size and weight of the nut.
