Torlighting - a systemic herbicide for combating cereal and two-lobed weeds on crops
sunflower herbicide-resistant group imidazolinones.
Advantages of the drug:
- Highly effective control of grass and dicotyledonous weeds.
including "Problematic" for herbicides of other groups (sedge, thistle, ragweed)
- Long-term insurance and soil effect (efficiency does not depend on the amount of precipitation)
- Possibility of use in systems of partial and zero tillage.
Active substance: Imizapir, 15 g / l + Imizamox, 33 g / l
Preparative form: Soluble concentrate
Packaging: 10 liter canister, the price is for 1 liter.
Mechanism of action:
The active ingredients of the drug (imazapyr and imazamox), penetrating the plant through the leaf surface and root system, move through conductive tissues to the growth points, where they block the enzyme acetolactate synthesis, the reduction of which leads to the suppression of the formation of the most important amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine. As a result, their level decreases and the biosynthesis of proteins and nucleic acids is disrupted, weeds stop growing, and after a while they die.
Action speed:
The drug begins to act immediately after administration. After a few hours, the growth of sensitive weeds stops, and in 3-6 weeks they die completely.

Period of processing and features of application:
The drug should be used in the phase of 4 true sunflower leaves (only hybrids resistant to imidazolinones) at the initial stages of weed development. To ensure maximum efficiency, processing should be carried out at an air temperature of at least 25 degrees.
Given the high herbicidal activity of the drug and the possibility of an aftereffect on the following crops due to incomplete decomposition of the active substances due to soil and climatic conditions (insufficient precipitation, cool weather conditions during the growing season, type of soil, its granulometric composition, humidity, acidity), it is necessary to properly organize crop rotation after its use:
- after 9 months *
corn, barley **, oats, rice, sunflower, soybeans, peas, beans, sorghum.
- after 18 months, vegetables,
potatoes
- after 24 months, sugar beets and fodder, rapeseed, buckwheat, sorghum
To exclude the phytotoxic effect of weeds on the crop before phase 4 of true sunflower leaves, we recommend applying soil herbicides in reduced rates.
Thor and other imidazolinones should not be used more often than once every 3 years.
