KALMA™ - Regulator the growth of the new generation, which helps to strengthen the stem, provides better resistance to adverse weather conditions and prevents
cereal crops from lying down.
Active substance and concentration: trinexapak-ethyl, 175 g/l
Chemical group: cyclohexanediones
Distribution in the plant (or mode of action): systemic
Preparative form: KE (emulsifiable concentrate)
The rate of consumption of the working solution: 200 - 300 l/ha
Manufacturer: Adama
Packaging: 5 l plastic canister, the price is for 1 l.
Advantages:
The unique preparation form ensures the fastest and most complete penetration of the active substance into the plant tissue.
Reducing the risk of lodging by strengthening the stem, reducing the length of the internode.
An increase in the diameter of the stem and the volume of the root system.
Effective in a wide range of temperatures: the effect of the drug is manifested at temperatures from +8 to +12°C.
The drug has a positive effect on culture and helps increase the yield.
The main distinct advantage of the KALMA™ drug over competing products based on trinexapak-ethyl is its modern, innovative formulation.
The composition of the drug includes a powerful adjuvant containing longer chains of fatty acids. This ensures pronounced lipophilic properties: better distribution of the drug, the contact area with the leaf surface increases and the penetration of the active substance into the plant is significantly improved.
Already after 5 hours, 90% of the active substance contained in KALMA™ penetrates inside the plant, while up to 60% of the active substance of similar products based on trinexapak-ethyl penetrates into the plant only after 72 hours.
A higher rate of KALMA™ should be used for varieties that are most susceptible to lodging or with intensive nitrogen feeding. It is always necessary to choose the rate of consumption in accordance with the type of grain crop and the region of application.

The maximum rate of the drug should be used on long-stemmed varieties, at low temperatures and high humidity, on high-humus soils or against the background of intensive nitrogen nutrition.
On short-stemmed varieties, at elevated temperatures and low humidity, the minimum recommended dose should be used. Simultaneous application with a drug containing the active substance chlormequat-chloride is possible only at stage VVSN 30-31.
Miscibility:
The KALMA™ preparation can be mixed with herbicides (
except for herbicides against cereal weeds and preparations containing the active substances 2,4-D, dicamba or clopyralid), fungicides, insecticides and growth regulators (CYKOGAN™). When mixing with fungicides, you can use the minimum recommended consumption rate, as the components of the tank mixture enhance each other's effect.
