The Nufarm company created a growth regulator called STABILAN® 750, which is designed to prevent the lodging ofcereals crops and is also used as arape growth regulator. The composition of this drug includes the active substance - chlormequat chloride. Penetrating into the plant, this substance compacts the lower internodes of cereal crops by suppressing the speed of their linear stretching. Thanks to this, the height of the plants decreases and the strength of the stems increases. As a result, plants become more resistant to lodging, the risk of penetration of rot pathogens into the root neck of plants decreases. Also, this drug affects the uniform flowering and ripening of plants. The use of this drug on winter rapeseed crops leads to a decrease in plant growth, which ensures better development of the root system and improved winter hardiness of the crop. Growth regulator Stabilan can be combined with herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers. Before each combination with a new drug that has not yet been tested, it is recommended to conduct a compatibility test. The working solution of the drug must be prepared immediately before use.
