Chinese-made tractors for Ukrainian farmers

One of the most essential conditions for effective farming is the availability and rational use of power tools, i.e. tractors.

The modern agricultural machinery market offers farmers new and used tractorstractors of various types, capacities and manufacturers. Chinese-made tractors can often be found in the fields of Ukrainian farmers. And this is explained both by economic expediency and by their rather high technological and other characteristics.

Chinese tractors are produced in different power ranges of engines. But most of them are presented in the range of 25...130 hp.

Among the most famous brands of Chinese tractors, we can mention the equipment of the companies:

YTO tractors are manufactured on the basis of FIAT equipment and are equipped with:

  • PERKINS or English RICARDO engines;
  • FIAT transmission;
  • LUK clutch.

The greatest demand for this brand among Ukrainian farmers is:

  • economical tractors with an engine power of 80...90 hp;
  • for animal husbandry, horticulture, vegetable growing and growing berry crops - tractors with a power of 40...50 hp. (widely used also in the communal economy); (models 404, 454, 504) are characterized by:
  • міні-трактори потужності 16…36 к.с.

Тракторам з потужністю двигуна 40…50 к.с. (моделі 404, 454, 504) характерними є:

  • all-wheel drive;
  • comfortable cab;
  • locking the differential;
  • standard three-point hitch system, which is the guarantee of its use with various types of implements.

Tractors with engine power of 80...120 hp. (models Х704, Х804, Х904 and others) - all-wheel drive and are effectively used when performing various types of work. Among the essential features of these tractors, which provide their technological advantages in application, are the dimensions of the front and rear wheels and the weight.

Foton tractors

High performance and serviceable tractors are produced by Foton (LOVOL) with or without a heated cab.

They are characterized by: simplicity and reliability of the design; high level of ergonomics and design; high speed characteristics; maneuverability and passability (deep tire tread and high ground clearance); simplicity and ease of control due to the use of hydraulic power steering.

Foton tractors (LOVOL) are equipped with PERKINS diesel engines with a capacity of 24...80 hp, which meet EU requirements and environmental standards.

Let's consider the models of this brand that are best known to our farmers:

Model 244 (with or without a cab), a feature which is:

So, in general, Chinese tractors are characterized by economy, reliability and versatility. They are well adapted to our soil, climate and economic operating conditions.

Chinese-made tractors, depending on power and needs, have found wide application in various fields:

  • on private estates and in small and medium-sized farms;
  • when carrying out operations on growing and harvesting agricultural crops;
  • work in animal husbandry and forestry;
  • municipal farming;
  • for transporting goods under various road conditions, etc.

Chinese tractor equipment can also be seen in large farms and holdings, where their advantages during operation were evaluated.

And the arguments for this are the use of diesel engines of both domestic production and well-known European and American manufacturers, which are adapted to operating conditions and provide fuel economy.

Experience has already confirmed durability with proper operation, in most cases due to the high quality of assembly. The main reason for this is a high level of discipline and responsibility for products from the worker to the head of the enterprise.

Simplicity and convenience of management, ease of repair and maintenance (including the availability of a complete list of spare parts and their interchangeability), a sufficient number of attachments with various functional purposes at a democratic price are also strong arguments when choosing precisely Chinese tractor equipment.

Tractors, moto-tractors and mini-tractors of these companies are exported to more than 100 countries of the world (including countries of Europe, Asia, North and South America), which confirms their popularity and high demand for them.

However, when choosing a Chinese tractor model, it is advisable to pay attention first of all to the following:

  • the power of the engine as an indicator of its performance;
  • the presence of a power take-off shaft, a hitch system and a towing device that determine its functionality;
  • additional equipment and options that will allow the operator to work more efficiently and rationally use the available capabilities of the power tool and the power of his engine.
