Principle of operation:

A conical wood chipper is a cone with a screw thread cut on it. The principle of its operation is based on the ability of a screw to be easily screwed into a wooden surface, and the cone will be gradually pushed apart by the fibers of a wooden log.

We use a cone made of 45 steel with a diameter of 80 mm. The nose (end) on it is not thin with a sharp "tail", during work it "sits" less. If sharpening is necessary, a file, a file is used, the time required is minimal.
