The variety was bred by selecting the short-stemmed line No. 197 in the nursery of the first-year test of the Shestopalovka variety in 2004.

Approbation signs: a variety of erythrospermum. Vegetation period 262-272 days. The period of vernalization is 20 days (two-handed). Early earing and ripening.

Ear: Large, long (11-13 cm), medium density, drooping cylindrical, white when ripe, unbreakable. The wax coating is weakly expressed. The spikes are shorter than the ear of corn, are moderately coarse, and are also white when ripe. Taking into account the record plasticity of the variety, the ear of corn can change not only its size, but also its shape.

Spike scale: medium lanceolate-oval. The tooth is medium, sharp, slightly bent. The shoulder is medium, straight. The keel is well defined to the base.

Root: the root system is powerful and mobile, makes excellent use of the potential of soil fertility.

Kaleoptile: long, which allows you to coverseeds when sowing to a depth of 6-8 cm. This gives the opportunity not only to get moist soil and get friendly seedlings, but also to increase the winter resistance of such crops .

Stem: hollow, thin, strong. The height of the plant is 80-85 cm. The stem is dark green, white when ripe. The shape of the bush is semi-slanka. The wax coating is weakly expressed. The height of the stem of this variety reacts weakly to the continentality of the climate.

Leaf: green, medium length and width. Wax coating is weakly expressed, there is no pubescence.

Features of the variety: considering that the Shpalovka variety is a line of the Shestopalovka variety, they belong to long-day wheat. However, the Shpalovka variety is a leader in plasticity not only in terms of physiological properties, but also in terms of morphological features.

The variety is resistant: to soil and air drought, heat resistant. Has increased winter hardiness and frost resistance. It is resistant to shedding and sprouting on the root, and also has complex resistance to all diseases of winter wheat. With record yields of 70-120 t/ha, the Shpalovka variety can fall as well as the Shestopalovka variety, especially during heavy rainstorms.

Grain: large, elongated, ovoid in shape. The mass of 1000 grains is 45-55 grams, the color is red, the furrow is medium, the base is bare, the crest is pubescent.

Grain quality: the variety belongs to the group of strong wheats. Grain contains 14-16% protein, 30-35% gluten. IDK - 63 o.p. Flour strength 350-480 a.a. Volume of bread 100 gr., flour 1200 cm3. The overall rating of the bread is 9 points.

Yield: in a competitive variety test for 3 years, the average yield is 87.5 t/ha, which is 7 t higher than the standards of the Shestopalovka variety. Its belonging to the varieties of the fifth generation, allows to have high production reliability and stability of high yields in production in the most different years of winter wheat cultivation. The Shpalovka variety easily overcomes the yield of 150 c/ha.

The Shpalovka variety is a universal type of use and is suitable for cultivation in all ecological regions of Ukraine. Area of ​​production use similar to the Shestopalovka variety.
