Rate of drug consumption, 1 l/ha Systemic herbicide for destruction annual dicotyledonous and some cereal weeds during the growing season of sugar and fodder beets.
Active substance: phenmedipham, 91 g/l + desmedipham, 71 g/l + etofumesate, 112 g/l
Preparative form: emulsion concentrate
Advantages of the drug
– Wide range of action;
– Absorbed by leaves, acts partly through the soil;
– The effect begins 3-5 days after treatment;
– The amount of inter-row processing decreases;
– Excludes manual sniffing.
Mechanism of action
Successfully selected active substances of the selective, systemic herbicide "Mitchel" lead to the blocking of vital systems of the weed organism, destroying the second stage of photosynthesis and the synthesis of lipids in the
cell. The processes induced in the weed plant by the active ingredients of the drug are destructive and irreversible.

Peculiarities of application technology
Mitchel drug is used in warm weather (optimally 14-22 0С) with sufficient air and soil humidity. The optimal phase of weed development is the emergence of cotyledons. The next spraying is carried out 7-10 days after the previous spraying when a new wave of weeds appears. The maximum number of treatments is -3.
It is not recommended to carry out spraying when the sugar beet is in a stressful state (drought, frost or depression from treatment with other pesticides).
Mitchel herbicide is compatible with many
other herbicides, which are used on sugar beet crops.
