The grain extruder is intended for the preparation of fodder by the extrusion processing of fodder grain (wheat, rye, barley, corn, peas, as well as soybeans). During extrusion, a temperature of 120-180 C and a pressure of 20-30 Atm are reached, hydrolysis of starch occurs with an increase in the amount of dextrins and total sugars, the structure of the cell walls is destroyedcells, fiber breaks down into secondary sugar, as a result of which feed digestibility and taste qualities improve, pathogenic microflora is destroyed.
There is a significant increase in digestibility (from 45% with traditional grain processing) to 95%.
