Grain extruder from PTO shaft (PTO) EKZ-220, Dnepropetrovsk region.

The grain extruder works from the power take-off shafttractor (except T-25 tractor).

Grain productivity (wheat, corn, peas, barley, rye, mixed grain, soybeans) 200-220 kg/hour.
For normalwork of the extruder grain humidity should be 18-20%.
Weight 250 kg.

During extrusion, a pressure of 20-30 Atm, a temperature of 120-180°C occurs, hydrolysis of starch occurs with an increase in the amount of dextrins and total sugars, the structure of the walls ofcells is destroyed, fiber breaks down into secondary sugar, as a result of which feed digestibility and palatability improve, pathogenic microflora is destroyed. There is a significant increase in digestibility (from 45% with traditional grain processing) to 95%.

For example, the use of extrudates of peas, corn, barley, and wheat in feeding pigs allows:

- to intensify the average daily weight gain of pigs by 15.7-27%, to reduce feed consumption (including deficient feed of animal origin);

- to reduce the number of piglets due to a sharp (by 2-17 times) decrease in the bacterial fungal insemination of grain.
