Cap. Up to 20 cm in diameter, ovoid at an early age, closed, then bell-shaped and finally fully expanded. The caps of young mushrooms are absolutely white in color and turn yellow from the slightest damage, with age the cap becomes darker and acquires a pinkish or even purple hue by old age. The skin from the cap is easily removed, in small pieces, but only at the edges, remaining attached in the center.

Flesh. White, often inhabited by insects, with a characteristic smell of bitter almonds. Plates are very frequent, not attached to the leg, cream-colored in early age and dark brown in old age. Brown spore powder.
Leg. Up to 15 cm long, with a characteristic bend at the base, hollow inside. At the very beginning of the leg is a small flat thickening, similar to a potato tuber. The ring is very high, thin, wide and wavy, smooth on the outside and slightly scaly on the inside. The flesh of the legs is grayish and fibrous, also with an almond smell.
