Description

Scope of application

Before using MBR - 39 Ecobit rubber-bituminous mastic, it is necessary to mix it well and only then apply it to the base with a brush, spatula or in bulk. If necessary, the mastic can be diluted with a solvent (nefras), white spirit,kerosene or similar solvents.

Before applying mastic, the base must be prepared: clean, durable, dry, without frost and ice. The temperature of the air and the treated surface during the work should be from - 10 to + 40°C, the relative humidity of the air - no more than 80%. At an air temperature below 0°C, the mastic should be heated to a temperature of + 30°C - + 60°C.

Consumption
When applying a layer of mastic with a thickness of no more than 1.0 mm, the consumption is 1.0 - 1.5 kg/m2, depending on the surface of the base. For better waterproofing, it is recommended to apply 2 - 3 layers. Each subsequent layer is applied only after the previous one has dried. The drying time of each layer takes from 3 to 24 hours, depending on the air humidity and at an ambient temperature of 20°C.

Mastic contains organic solvents, so smoking and open flames are prohibited when working with it;
