Preparation of the base
The base must be flat, free of loosely fixed particles, dust, dirt, rust, and not contain water on the surface. Defects in building structures are recommended to be repaired with repair plasters: RSh-1 (repair of plaster layers); RSh-2 (repair of the surface of supporting and fencing structures); RSh-3 (floor repair). The protruding parts of the armature must first be cleaned of rust. All types of absorbent bases must be strengthened with a primer to increase the strength of adhesion to the waterproofing layer: GD-2 (for porous bases) or GD-4 (for low-porous bases). To prevent the accumulation of salts or freezing of water under the waterproofing film, for example, on the plinth of the building, it is recommended to pre-treat the base with a hydrophobizing primer GD-3 or GD-32.

Application procedure
The mastic is completely ready for use. To obtain a reduced viscosity, the mastic is diluted with water, but not more than 10% of the initial amount. It is strictly forbidden to dilute the mastic with organic solvents in order to avoid its destruction and loss of waterproofing properties.
Mastic is recommended to be applied with a brush, spatula or roller.

For waterproofing foundations, plinths, tunnels, technical wells, retaining walls, floor slabs, mastic is applied in layers. Under normal conditions (20 °C and 60-70% humidity), a layer of mastic 0.3 mm thick (corresponding to a consumption of mastic of approximately 0.35 kg/m2) dries in about 1 hour, and a layer 1 mm thick in one moment dries in 3 days. Therefore, to accelerate the drying of the waterproofing layer, the recommended total thickness of the waterproofing film of approximately 1 mm is achieved by three layers of 0.3 mm. In the case of layer-by-layer mastic application, each subsequent layer must be applied after the previous one has dried, and subsequent layers must be applied in cross directions.
During the drying time, the applied layer must be protected from moisture and mechanical impact to acquire good waterproofing properties.

To increase the mechanical strength of the mastic film, especially in places where moisture may accumulate, it is recommended to apply several 1 mm layers, reinforcing each layer with a non-woven reinforcing material. The reinforcing material is laid directly behind the fresh layer of MG-9, sinking it with a roller or spatula.

After the reinforced mastic dries, it can be treated with РШ-1, РШ-2 (wall) and РШ-3 (strip) plaster, putty, glue ceramic tiles with KS-1, KS-5 or KK-1 glue or cover with VD-AK-111 acrylic varnish pigmented with aluminum powder. Various types of decoration can be applied behind a layer of plaster or putty (VD-AK-11 painting or various types of decorative plasters). It is recommended to carry out the described decoration no earlier than 7 days after applying the mastic. To increase the adhesion of plasters to the film of dried mastic, it is recommended to pre-treat it with adhesive primer G-1.
It is possible to paint the mastic itself with water-dispersion coloring pastes. At the same time, highly opaque pigments, such as pigment titanium dioxide, ocher or suric, in addition to the decorative effect, protect the mastic film from ultraviolet rays. However, the amount of colonizing paste should not be more than 7% of the mastic volume.

Conditions and term of storage
The warranty period of storage is 6 months, provided that it is stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging at a temperature of plus 5-35 °C.

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with the skin, wash with cold water and soap, if necessary, with organic solvents (for example, white spirit).
