Therefore, to accelerate the drying of the waterproofing layer, the recommended total thickness of the waterproofing film of approximately 1 mm is achieved by three layers of 0.3 mm. In the case of layer-by-layer mastic application, each subsequent layer must be applied after the previous one has dried, and subsequent layers must be applied in cross directions. During the drying time, the applied layer must be protected from moisture and mechanical impact to acquire good waterproofing properties.

2. To increase the mechanical strength of the mastic film, especially in places where moisture may accumulate, it is recommended to apply several 1 mm layers, reinforcing each layer with a non-woven reinforcing material. The reinforcing material is laid directly behind the fresh layer of MG-2, sinking it with a roller or spatula. After the reinforced mastic dries, it can be covered with acrylic (rolled) paint VD-AK-11 or acrylic varnish VD AK 111, pigmented with aluminum powder, treated with plaster Leader RSh-1, RSh-2 (wall) and RSh-3 (strip), putty, glue ceramic tiles with glue KS-1, KS-5 or KK-1.
