Solder with flux SD-82 is used both for soldering new and for repairing printed parts that already have a thick oxide film and/or oily deposits on the surface of the solder joints. Flux brand SD-82 is a flux with increased activity and is classified according to IPC J-STD-004B as ROL1. This flux is compatible with all existing finishing coatings of printed circuit boards and components, flux residues after soldering do not cause corrosion and can be left on the board. If it is necessary to cover the printed unit with a protective conformal coating, the remnants of the flux can be removed both with solvents and soapy materials manually, by jet or ultrasonic washing. The properties of the flux allow it to be used both with traditional tin-lead alloys and with lead-free ones.
