The tooth is made of a square of 65G steel with appropriate heat treatment. The use of a square reserved on two sides for a sharp wedge ensures the operation of the cutting edge of the square and the wedge work surface with the effect of self-sharpening. A sharp wedge easily penetrates the soil.
When using the teeth of a thick-walled pipe with a square cross-section as a supporting beam, it became possible to orient a square hole with a cross-section of 16x16 in one wall of the pipe, which, in turn, avoids the dangerous transition of the tooth in the area of the square thread.
The links that assemble the load-bearing beams into a train are made of strong 30G2R corrugated sheet steel, used for the manufacture ofdisks burins, paws. Also, the frame structure of the link gives the train stability when working without demolishing the track. Fastening the link to the tooth beam with the help of three-dimensional axes significantly increases the maintainability of the unit.
Stops stamped from sheet steel installed on the tooth beam provide the necessary angle of installation of the teeth (23 ° or 45 ° from the vertical).
The scheme of arrangement of the teeth with an interaxial distance of adjacent teeth in the plan of 25 mm and a diagonal of the square of 22 mm provides almost complete overlap of the working area along the entire width of the grip when constructing a loop consisting of ten bearing bars with teeth.
