Distinctive features of sunflower "Folk":

characterized by resistance to 50 g/haherbicides on the basis of purified tribenuron methyl 750 g/kg (the manufacturer recommends two applications of the insurance herbicide at 25 g/ha in the period from the 2nd to the 8th pair of true leaves of the culture);
resistant to infection of races A-F;
refers to simple sunflower hybrids of the intensive type;
characterized by high productivity potential in drought conditions;
for the variety test since 2017;
recommended for cultivation in the Forest Steppes and Steppes of Ukraine.

Morphological characteristics:

Vegetation 110 days (early ripening hybrid).

Height - 165-170 cm.

The basket has a small slope, convex shape, diameter - 18-20 cm.

Fat content 49-50%

Over the years of testing, it showed consistently high average yield of 38 tons/ha (hybrid potential 56 tons/ha).

Fallout - 9/10

Disease resistance :

- 7 points – white rot;

- 8 points – gray rot; fomosis, fomopsis,

- 9 points - rust, false powdery mildew.

At the time of harvesting, the density of standing cultural plants should be:

- 55-50 thousand/ha - in conditions of sufficient moisture;

- 50-45 thousand/ha - in conditions of insufficient moisture.

The seeds are packaged in sowing units of 150 thousand seeds.
