Mechanism of action of Fungicide Spirale:
Difenoconazole is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide from the triazole class. It is absorbed by the vegetative part and moves throughout the plant by means of acropetal and strong translaminar translocation. Difenoconazole provides long-lasting prophylactic action combined with curative and eradication action against foliar fungal pathogens - ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, deuteromycetes, as well as several seed-borne pathogens on many crops worldwide.
The mechanism of action of difenoconazole is to inhibit the demethylation of sterols, which prevents the production of ergosterol in cell membranes to stop the development ofmushrooms.

Fenpropidine is a systemic, therapeutic and protective fungicide from the class of piperidines (morpholines) for combating foliar diseases. It has high activity against powdery mildew, types of rust and a number of other pathogens, including cercosporosis. Fenpropidine is a systemic compound with rapid absorption and pronounced acropetal translocation through the xylem, which provides good distribution in plant tissues and protection against leaching. Fenpropidine shows an inhibitory effect on existing infections (curative activity) and prevents the emergence of new infections (protective activity).

This combination makes it possible to obtain a fungicide with high and long-lasting effectiveness against the main diseases of sugar beet and, at the same time, an effective tool for protecting sugar beet in the conditions of the spread of strobilurin-resistant races of cercosporosis. The synergism of the two drugs is manifested in the persistence of difenoconazole (acts slowly and for a long time) and the rapid therapeutic activity of fenpropidine (quick "stop" effect). Thus, Spirale provides a long-lasting effect and proven effectiveness against the main sugar beet diseases: cercosporosis, ramulariasis, powdery mildew and rust.

The combination of difenoconazole and fenpropidine makes it possible to increase the efficiency of penetration and absorption by the plant of both drugs, and therefore, to improve their effectiveness, as evidenced by the obtained research results. Thus, according to the results of the analysis of the initial retention of d. r., a tendency to increase their content in plant tissues was noted under the condition of using difenoconazole and fenpropidine in a tank mixture, in contrast to the use of active substances solo in the same quantities.
