Stainless steel chimney, Kyiv

When working with bees (examination, treatment), a beekeeper needs a tool that allows him to temporarily calm the bee colony.. For these purposes, an apiary chimney serves to calm the bees with the help of a thick stream of smoke.

The cylindrical body of the chimney, made of stainless steel, is equipped with a cover with a nozzle for smoke removal, as well as bellows for inflation.

Furs are two wooden plates protected by genuine leather, with a spring in the middle.(//tractor-service.com)

Due to the holes in the chimney housing and the bellows connected by a tube, the air received when pressing the bellows enters the lower part of the housing unhindered, rises up and comes out with smoke.

At the bottom of the case there is a container for smoke-forming materials. Materials are placed on the mesh bottom of the container, which does not come into contact with the bottom of the chimney.

When using the chimney, the beekeeper holds the device by the upper part of the bellows and periodically presses on them. It is necessary to start the inspection of bees by feeding 2-3 jets of smoke into the hive through the air vent. Next, you need to run the smoke inside the nest, having previously disconnected the cover and the top.
