The principle of operation is based on the high-temperature evaporation of a solution of a certain active substance (amitraz, fluvalinate, tau-fluvalinate, thymol, oxalic acid, etc.) with a solvent (purified kerosene, ethyl alcohol 96%, water, etc.)          

  Intensive dosed evaporation of the active substance in combination with a strong irritating effect (intense movement of bees, leading to better scattering of mites), caused by evaporation of the solvent, gives high efficiency of treatments.

  When using acid and thymol (etc.) as active substances, the device can be successfully used in the production system of ecologically clean (bio) products.

   The proposed device has undergone a number of improvements and tests, contains high-resource components and parts, thanks to the special design of the heater, efficient (economical) gas use and high-quality evaporation of the working fluid.

  Before starting the operation of the Varoa-mor device, the smoke cannon should be equipped with a gas canister. This work should be carried out in the fresh air. To do this, you need to unscrew the pressure ring of the gas canister. Turn the handle of the gas supply valve clockwise. Insert the gas can with the convex side into the lower part of the burner housing. By rotating the gas canister clamping ring on the threaded connection, we send the gas canister to be pierced by a needle located in the burner housing. A working device prevents gas leakage. The current replacement of the gas cylinder is carried out only after the gas has been used up. Gas canisters are disposable and cannot be refilled. They are sold in the construction materials trade network. To acquire skills in the operation of the device, it is recommended to test the device by pouring kerosene without the active substance into the tank.      

Procedure for working with the device:

 Preparation of working solution No. 1

For 100 gr. Add 15 grams of 96% ethyl alcohol. Oxalic acid. While stirring, heat in a water bath (t 40-50C) until the acid crystals are completely dissolved. Add 10 g to the resulting solution. Timola

Preparation of working solution No. 2

 Take 5 ml. Add Bipina or Tactics to 100 ml. refined kerosene. At the same time, a homogeneous solution of a transparent white shade should be formed. Without sediment. This amount of working solution is calculated for processing 50 bee colonies. The working mortar keeps its properties for several months.

Use of solutions

  Open the lid and pour the resulting working fluid into the tank. Open the gas supply valve by turning the valve handle counterclockwise. We light the burner by pressing the trigger of the piezo element. We adjust the desired (optimal) gas supply mode. The flame of the burner should not protrude above the external protective circuit of the collector.

 After 1-2 minutes, pump the working fluid into the system using the drive handle of the fluid supply pump until persistent puffs of smoke appear from the nozzle nozzle. At the same time, the drive handle should be pulled behind you to the stop.

  Liquid supply is carried out when the handle is released. The handle is adjusted to supply 1 cm. 3 of working fluid. When the first cube of smoke is formed, a drop of the working solution may come out of the nozzle.

  Insert the nozzle 1-2 cm into the lower leaf and feed one cloud of smoke into the nest of the family when using amitraz as the active substance, 3-5 clouds of smoke when using thymol or oxalic acid. It is recommended not to use thymol if there is a young infertile uterus in the nest, as well as at an air temperature higher than +30С. At the end of the treatment, close the gas supply valve.   If there is a brood in the nest, treatment is carried out 4 times with an interval of 3 days. (to destroy the tick that comes out of the brood). In the fruitless period, processing is carried out 1-2 times with an interval of 3-4 days. It is important to use tick-catching nets when treating with any drugs. The presence of nets prevents the appearance of ticks resistant to this or that drug, significantly increases the efficiency of treatment.

Safety instructions when using the device.

  Using the device requires compliance with safety rules when working with gas cylinder equipment and flammable substances. Do not allow mechanical damage to the device. This can lead to the loss of its tightness and possible leakage of gas or working fluid. It is forbidden to eat, drink, smoke during processing.

   Do not inhale the generated smoke. When processing, move against the wind. The device should be transported in a sealed package in the trunk of the car. Store in a well-ventilated non-residential premises. In the event of defects related to the operation of the gas burner, it is necessary to contact gas equipment maintenance specialists.

Technical maintenance of the device

 All nodes and connectors of the device are sealed, so it is not recommended to disassemble them unnecessarily. When calibrating the amount of working fluid supplied by the dispenser with one movement of the dispenser drive in cold mode, it is necessary to set a volume of 0.8 ml. with the fact that the working fluid in the volume of 1 ml evaporated in the working mode. For calibration, you can use a medical syringe of 1-2 kb. This is explained by the formation of negative pressure in the tube of the working device as a result of the intense release of formed gases and the partial absorption of an additional amount of working fluid from the dispenser. When using thymol or oxalic acid as an active substance, to prevent the formation of deposits inside the tube, the working system of the device should be periodically washed (pumped in working mode) with a solution of water with table vinegar (100 g of water / 1 tablespoon of vinegar). Before long-term storage, to prevent surface oxidation, the entire working system of the device must be washed with a large amount of purified kerosene. This will ensure long-term and uninterrupted work.
