3-row row cultivator (Poland, Wirax), Kyiv region.

The universal cultivator-hoe (weeder) is intended for targeted soil treatment when growing potatoes, strawberries, sunflowers, corn, tomatoes and other crops. It is used to form a ridge along the axis of the row and destroy weeds at the bottom of the furrow, which contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the growth of plants. It is used in a hitch with tractors with a power of 18 hp or more, it is hung on the rear three-point hitch of category 1-2 and does not require connection to the PTO.

The Wirax weeder has three working sections that allow you to process two full rows in the center and half a row on both sides of the unit in one pass. Thanks to the fastening elements that connect the frame and the section, the width of the rows can be easily adjusted. The sections are equipped with supportingwheels with mud-removal fastening and damping springs, which allows to reduce the load and achieve uniform deepening of the working tool. To adjust the depth of processing, fasteners are used that holdknockers, working paws and chisels on each of the sections.(//tractor-service.com)

Installed hillers - also with variable geometry. With the help of adjusting screws, the mounder blades can be moved and extended, thus ensuring a gradual ridge outline with the overturning of a thin cut layer of soil between the rows. The root system of cultivated plants is not damaged.

The solid metal frame of the cultivator has increased strength and is capable of withstanding maximum loads. In each section, there is a place for attaching the arrow paw when the cultivator is working with hedgehogs, so the tool can be additionally equipped with hedgehogs for weeding potatoes.
