PROPERTIES:
Proteus® 110 OD, MD is a new system-contact combined insecticide that contains two active substances with different mechanisms of action. The drug has a new, unique preparation form — an oil dispersion, which is characterized by ideal retention of the drug on the leaf surface, resistance to being washed away by rain, and active penetration into the leaf. The combination of two active substances with different mechanisms of action and the preparation form — oil dispersion — make it possible to control a wide range of pests, provide a "knockdown effect", a long-term effect and exclude the emergence of resistance to the drug.

FEATURES OF THE FORMULATION:
The last word in the development of technologies of preparative forms of insecticides is an oil dispersion of the O-TEQ type. The active substance is evenly distributed in the carrier — vegetable oil — and forms a certain spatial structure in it. During long-term storage, the so-called phenomenon of syneresis is observed: the drug visually delaminates. This is due to the compaction of the aforementioned structure under the influence of gravity. At the same time, the structure itself is completely preserved, keeping the active substance from forming sediment. To restore homogeneity, it is enough to shake the drug several times before preparing the working solution.

During spraying, drops of oil containing the active substance are evenly distributed in the water. After getting on the leaves, the water evaporates, and an oily film with the active substance remains on the surface. It is this that ensures a firm retention of the drug on the leaves, resistance to rain wash-off and ease of penetration of the systemic component of the drug into the leaf tissues.
