Economic and biological characteristics:
Universal type for various agrophones (Antonovka variety type);
High-yielding In the dry years (2010-2012) in the state variety test, the maximum yield was 10.04 t/ha, while the average yield in various agro-ecological zones was 5.17-6.36 t/ha, which is 3.2-16.8% higher than national standards. It is distinguished by a large (11-12 cm), well-seeded ear (64-72 grains) with good bushiness (680-710 productive stems per 1 m2);
Middle-aged Vegetation period 282-285 days (equal to the Antonovka variety);
Short-stemmed (86-92 cm), with a thick strong stem provides high resistance to lying (9 points). Resistant to crumbling (8 points) and root germination (7-8 points);
Frost resistance, winter resistance increased (7-8 points), drought and heat resistance high (8-9 points);
Field resistance to diseases (in points): brown rust - 5-6, powdery mildew - 5-6, powdery mildew - 4-5.
Grain quality: according to the grain quality laboratory of the Institute
grains of the Institute expert reviews of plant varieties of Ukraine, the Lyra Odesskaya variety is characterized by increased grain quality indicators of strong and superstrong wheat: weight of 1000 grains - 38.8-42.4 g; protein content 14.2-14.4%, crude gluten 29.5-33.1%, flour strength 390-418 e.a.
Testing features: variety of erythrospermum, spike white, cylindrical, medium density (20-22 spikes per 100 mm stem), large (110-112 mm). Spines of medium length (68-89 mm) are jagged. Spike scale oval, length 13.2-15.4 mm, width 3.2-3.8 mm. Shoulder straight, width 0.6-0.8 mm. The spike of spikelet scale is barely curved, length 3.2-5.1 mm. There is a keel, the tongue is short. The grain is red: length 7.8-8.9 mm, width 3.1-3.6 mm, thickness 2.8-3.7 mm
Agrotechnical requirements: the variety shows a high positive reaction to an increase in mineral nitrogen nutrition (K = 10.4-13.6).
A feature of the variety: high genetic productivity potential is combined with increased plasticity and resistance to biotic and abiotic stress factors.
