Creation method: includes morphologically close lines selected from a complex population from the crossing of
winter and spring triticale samples of different origins: Malno (Poland), Kubanets (Russia), 2059" ( USA), AD 3/5 (Ukraine). і ярих різного походження: Мально (Польща), Кубанець (Росія), 2059 р” (США), АД 3/5 (Україна).
Varietal distinguishing features: variety lutescens. The ear is white, spindle-shaped, long (9-12 cm), dense. Acorn-like appendages are short (0.5-4.5 cm), jagged, directed along the ear. Pubescence under the ear is weak (2/3 of the plants) or absent. Spikelet scales are lanceolate, long, of medium width, the shoulder is narrow, beveled, the keel is well defined, the tooth is sharp, short. The grain is red, elongated, very large, the weight of 1000 grains is 55-60 g. The bush is slender.
Biological features: medium-late, plant height 90-140 cm, high winter hardiness (8.0-8.5 points), drought-resistant, highly resistant to leaf-stem diseases, lodging. Has a high immunity to solid soot, but is susceptible to damage by flying soot (0.003 - 0.01%). Forms a very thick stem due to vigorous tillering, hardy until early sowing.
Economic characteristics: potential yield is more than 10 t/ha. In the competitive test, on average for 2000-2012, the grain yield after black steam was 6.44 t/ha, which is 0.76 t/ha higher than the indicator of the Amphidiploid 256 standard. After the predecessor, peas on the background of 180 kg d.r. of nitrogen in 2002, 9.66 t/ha of grain was obtained. The variety stably forms group I gluten (VDK 70 o.p.). The bread-making qualities of the Garne variety are good. On average, over nine years, the gluten content in flour was 21.3%, the volume of bread was 456 ml, and the overall bakery rating was 8.5 points. Triticale flour of the Harne variety has a good mixing ability, significantly improves the rheological indicators of wheat of classes IV - VI.
Agrotechnical requirements: recommended for sowing after a busy couple, perennial grasses, corn for silage. Sowing period is August 25 - September 15. The sowing rate is 2.5 - 4.5 million similar seeds per hectare, depending on the time of sowing and predecessors. The Garne variety is characterized by a particularly high endurance to low agrophones and deviations in cultivation technologies.
