Mechanism of action:
The active substance of the drug Garant penetrates into the plant through the above-ground organs of the plant. Thanks to its systemic properties, it gets into all plant organs (above-ground and root systems). Moving along the plant causes a violation of the synthesis of amino acids and the process of photosynthesis, which in turn leads to the death of plants. Complete death of plants is observed within 2-2.5 weeks from the moment of application of the drug and under optimal weather and climatic conditions.

Weed development phase:

The optimal phase of the development of annual and perennial weeds is 4-5 leaves or for plant height 5-15 cm.

Features of use: The drug is applied to actively growing weeds. The consumption rate of the drug depends on the type of weeds and their development phase. Spraying is carried out 12-14 days before mechanical tillage (cultivation, disking, plowing). Precipitation within 6 hours after applying the drug can significantly affect the effectiveness of the drug. It is not recommended to use the drug if the air temperature is lower than +120С or higher than +250С. The time limit for people to leave for manual work is 7 days, mechanized (or non-contact) work is 3 days.

Compatibility: The drug is compatible with most pesticides, but a compatibility test must be conducted in each specific case. To increase the effectiveness of the Garant drug, it is recommended to add surfactants or solutions ofnitrogen fertilizers.

The consumption rate of the working solution: 200-400 l/ha. Before use, the container with the drug should be thoroughly mixed. In the tank for preparing the working solution, filled with water to ½ or ⅓ of the volume, add the required amount of the drug, stirring constantly. After a few minutes, add water until the tank is full. Use the working solution on the day of its preparation.
