Reduction valve D120-1403382B3 engine D 120 of T25 tractor, Kharkiv region.

Valve reducer D120-1403382B3 air-cooled diesel engine D120 wheeledtractor T25, T25A, VTZ 2032. The reducer valve is an automatically acting pneumatic throttle designed to maintain a constant level of output pressure. The resistance of the reduction valve at any moment is proportional to the difference between the variable input pressure and the constant (reduced) output pressure. The first function performed by the reduction valveoil pump is to create a certain pressure. In the future, this parameter needs to be constantly monitored. So, any, even a minimal excess of the permissible pressure can lead to the fact that key components of the engine will fail. But it is impossible to overdo it, since the lack of this kind of pressure can lead to overheating of the elements due to insufficient lubrication. In order to avoid all the above-mentioned problems, automobile scientists invented a reduction valve device. At first glance, it may seem that this device is simple and unnecessary, as visually it does not create the prerequisites for further excitement.
