ZhZB-4,2M modernized bean harvester (5M)
Description:
The ZHZB-4.2M (5M) harvester is used for mowing followed by placing the mown mass in a single side furrow of legumes, green peas, beans, seeds of sugar beets, fallen grains and grasses. The harvester consists of a platform, which is a spatial welded frame, on which the main nodes are mounted.
Aggregation:
The harvester is aggregated with combine harvesters SK-5M "Niva", "Niva-Effect", "Enisei-1200" (produced before 01.01.2003), SKD-5 "Sibiryak".
Distinguishing featuresZhZB-4,2 reapers (5M) from similar ZHZB-4,2 (5M) harvesters of other manufacturers:
• A fundamentally new gearless scheme of the drive of the working bodies was introduced, which increases reliability and reduces the costs of maintaining the harvester. The upper knife of the cutting device is movable, the lower knife is sectional, thanks to which the time to replace damaged segments is reduced.(//tractor-service.com)
• A more reliable reel variator is made on the basis of an auger header variator for the "Don" harvester with a control hydraulic cylinder of an original design, more reliable than GA 83.
• An overrunning clutch is provided in the chain drive of the reel drive, which reduces the load on the drive when the harvester is turned off and creates additional convenience during the maintenance of the harvester.
• Knife drive slide of a one-piece design, made of grades of mild steel with the use of plasma cutting technology, which relieves internal metal tension and reduces the probability of slide failure. Two silent blocks are introduced into the construction of the connecting rod, which allows to reduce shock loads falling on the link and the drive units.
• Changes were made to the design of the reel frame and beams, which increased the strength of the harvester. An additional stop has been introduced to support the reel during maintenance.
