UPS-8 (SPU-8) is a universal pneumatic seeder designed for accurate sowing of calibrated seeds of corn, sunflower, sorghum, soybeans, as well as seeds of fodder beans, beans, lupins with simultaneous, separate application of granular mineral fertilizers and rolling of the soil in rows. The inter-sectional arrangement of the drive wheels allows you to more accurately adhere to the required depth of seed placement and avoid sieving. It is also possible to sow uncalibrated seeds, but in this case the accuracy will depend on the difference in size and the degree of damage to the seed material.
Precise seed drills provide sowing to the final density, excluding the use of manual labor when forming the required interval between plants. Pneumatic seed drills of precision seed drills reduce seed crushing 10 times compared to mechanical. The planters are equipped with a durable hydro-treated marker with an enlarged disk, which has the ability to change the angle of attack to obtain a clearly visible trail. On request, the planters are equipped with a transport device that allows you to move it along general purpose roads without the use of additional vehicles.
The seeder is equipped with a centrifugal fan driven by the PTO of the tractor (540 rpm).
A damper is used to regulate the vacuum of the air flow on the fan.
The fan is equipped with an overrunning clutch that protects the belt transmission from increased wear.
The beam of the seeder frame acts as a receiver, ensures the same vacuum in all seeding devices and eliminates the pulsation of the air flow.
Seeding section (UPS-8) SPU-8 is equipped with discs for sowing corn and sunflower seeds. The parallelogram section provides better copying of the relief of the field. As a result of the modernization, the sowing section was equipped with a double-circuit drive of a new design. Reliable protection of the drive ensures work in fields that are clogged with plant residues.
The amount of seeds, which falls from the hopper into the sowing chamber, is regulated by the shutter. The presence of an inspection window allows visual control of the quality of the seeding device during the adjustment process.
An unloading hatch is provided for quick removal of seeds from the chamber of the seeding device.
The fat-seeding system through the fat coulters provides the possibility of applying mineral fertilizers outside of the deadline and eliminates the harmful effects of fats on the seeds.
Rolling the soil during sowing improves the contact between the seeds and the moist soil at the bottom of the furrows, provides capillary rise of moisture and creates favorable conditions for earlier and friendly seed germination. Gas exchange takes place thanks to open zones.
